Hello again fellow gamers and devs!
With the final updates for Probe out now I have started drawing up a Post Mortem review of the game from it's conception/release to current date. For those unfamiliar with what a Post Mortem is, it's a document that goes over what was successful and unsuccessful about a game/program in every aspect of it's development/publishing from start to finish/current date by using and comparing lots of data from the games performance, gameplay and updates, sales statistics and user feedback. This will help hone in on the areas I need to improve on as a solo developer/publisher for future game releases and updates. The Post Mortem version I am currently writing is in full lengthy detail about the whole backstory and process of the creation of Probe but I will also make an abridged trimmed down version as well with only the basic bullet points for anyone who just wants to review the data graphs including sales spikes, active users, etc. (with the exception of anything else I am not allowed to share per Steam Partner NDA). Both versions of the Post Mortems will be two separate blog posts here on my blog, not as a weekly updates but as their own posts. Those should be coming out sometime within the next week or two. Once that's all done I'll be working on my next full game (TBA) on a regular basis but until I am ready to announce it with ample amounts of content to show first, I have a good long list of topics for weekly updates I will be doing that will include everything from game development tips and tricks I've learned to my top 10 favorite games, genres, etc. Possibly even some game reviews. Of course I will also include some extent of an update on how close I am to revealing my new project as well each week.
And don't forget try out the NEW 10 level DEMO for Probe and buy the game here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1275980/Probe/ *Edit Note* - I did not realize the sale ended early this morning so my humble apologies for promoting that after the fact ...BUT winter sales are coming soon! So don't forget to wishlist it and subscribe to this blog for the next sale announcement
